Accreditation
Journalists, photo-reporters, TV cameramen, technicians and other
representatives of the media who wish to cover the Meeting will have
to have an accreditation identity card. We would therefore ask
all who intend to cover the meeting to complete the attached
accreditation form and send it to the Government Public Relations and
Media Office not later than 15 May 2002.

Press Centres
For the duration of the Meeting, press centres will operate in
the premises of the Festival Hall in Bled and in the premises of Hotel
Kokra at Brdo pri Kranju.
The press centre in the Bled Festival Hall (telephone: +386
[0]4 535 8000, fax: +386 [0]4 535 8001) will open on Thursday 30 May
2002 at 16:00 and close on Saturday 1 June - provisionally at 17:00.
The press centre in Hotel Kokra at Brdo pri Kranju
(telephone: +386 [0]4 202 9000, fax: +386 [0]4 202 9001) will open on
Friday 31 May 2002 at 09:00 and close on Saturday 1 June -
provisionally at 17:00.
We will try to provide journalists with the best possible
conditions for their work in the press centres. It will be possible to
receive direct TV transmissions in them of all the more
important events (which will be open to the public) in the
framework of the Meeting of Presidents of Central European States. The
press centres will be fitted with all the equipment to enable
journalists suitable conditions for work: telephones, telefaxes,
modem connections, PCs, daily press agency service and other necessary
information.
Representatives of the Government Public Relations and Media Office
will also provide organised (bus) transport for photo-reporters and
TV cameramen to the site of events at Brdo pri Kranju.
Information on transport
Representatives from the Government Public Relations and Media
Office will provide organised transport (shuttle buses - also from
Ljubljana) for photo-journalists and TV camera crews to transfer them
to the event locations in Bled and Brdo pri Kranju. You will receive
the bus transport timetable in due time.
Please note: Access to the event locations will be very
difficult or even impossible by personal vehicles. We therefore
advise media representatives to make use of the organised transport to
access individual event locations.
Information on "pools" for photographers and TV camera crews
Due to limited capacities at certain event locations, the large
number of accredited photo- journalists, photographers and TV camera
crews, the organisers and all those responsible for providing the best
possible conditions for media representatives will be forced to create
special "pools". A pool will incorporate the highest
possible number of photo-journalists and TV camera crews permitted by
the spatial capacities of individual event locations.
Media representatives will be notified of pool composition in
due time.
